GRADE 1 MODEL 2025 - 2026 SCHOOL YEAR

BRINGING ENGLISH TOGETHER WITH THE FIRST LANGUAGE

The 2025 - 2026 school year marks an innovation in the grade 1 model at Nguyen Sieu Primary School to provide a comprehensive, modern and internationally standardized educational environment.

The program will be divided into 2 systems:

• Cambridge International Standard (CI)
• Cambridge International Specialised (CS)

In both of these classes, children will study subjects according to the General Education Program of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam and the Cambridge Program.

Notable differences in the 2025 - 2026 school year:

In the Cambridge Standard class, children will have access to the Wellbeing subject to help develop comprehensively in terms of physical and mental health. In the Cambridge Intensive class, children will learn English with a specialized curriculum - Primary English (English as a First Language), aiming to use English as a first language. In addition, children will also study the Global Perspectives subject - to help expand global thinking and improve understanding of the world.

With a comprehensive training program, the children continuously achieve high scores in the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint exam and win awards in many English competitions at home and abroad.

After 5 years of studying at Nguyen Sieu Primary School:

• With the Cambridge International Standard (CI) class system, children can take the Flyers certificate, with foreign language proficiency equivalent to level (A2) according to the CEFR reference framework. 
• With the Cambridge International Intensive (CS) class system, children can take the PET certificate, with foreign language proficiency equivalent to level (B1) according to the CEFR reference framework.
