LITTLE HANDS, BIG LOVE: HEARTFELT GIFTS FOR VIETNAMESE WOMEN’S DAY

News Monday, 19/10/2026

As part of the vibrant activities taking place throughout October, pupils at Nguyen Sieu Primary School have been making lovely handmade gifts for their grandmothers, mothers and the wonderful women in their lives to celebrate Vietnamese Women’s Day on 20 October.

With their little hands, the children carefully crafted every detail, thoughtfully added each brushstroke and applied every drop of glue with care. From colourful handmade flower baskets to creative photo frames, each gift is a unique little work of art. The drawings may not always be perfectly aligned and the cuts may not be completely straight. Some flowers may lean a little, and some lines may be slightly curved, but these little imperfections make each creation all the more charming and heartfelt. Every gift carries the unique touch of its young creator, reflecting their effort, joy and a loving message: “I love you so much, Grandma, Mum and Teacher!”

These activities encourage the children to develop their imagination and creativity while nurturing an even more important quality: gratitude, and the joy of expressing love through something made with their own hands.

Wishing all grandmothers, mothers and teachers a wonderful Vietnamese Women’s Day filled with happiness, joy and laughter!
