On the morning of October 14, at Nguyen Sieu Primary School, teachers and students attended the October flag-raising ceremony with many meaningful activities. This was an opportunity for the school to summarize the first phase of the emulation movement, launch the second phase of the emulation movement, and award outstanding individuals in the "2024 Reading Challenge" and the school-level "English Olympiad" for grade 5. The ceremony also featured a special performance, reviving the pride in Hanoi, a thousand years of culture.

In the first part of the ceremony, the School summarized the first round of emulation, recognized the efforts and awarded outstanding individuals and groups in studying, practicing ethics and participating in extracurricular activities.
 

Continuing the efforts of the students, the school launched the second round of the emulation movement with the theme "Grateful to teachers", aiming to guide the students to show respect and gratitude to the teachers - those who have devoted themselves to teaching and guiding them on the path of knowledge. This second round of the emulation movement is also an opportunity for the students to foster a sense of responsibility and attachment to their beloved school.

Awarding the contest "Reading Challenge 2024" and "English Olympiad for Grade 5"

"Reading Challenge 2024" has received enthusiastic responses from children, arousing their passion for reading and promoting reading culture in schools. The children's entries are not only personal shares about a book but also a source of inspiration to spread the love for books and the benefits of reading.

Along with that, the school awarded certificates of merit and prizes to the contestants of the "English Olympiad for Grade 5" to recognize their efforts and efforts, while encouraging the spirit of learning foreign languages ​​and developing the ability to integrate internationally from primary school.

Special performance: Folk dance medley "Hanoi people - Marching to Hanoi - Hanoi's constructions"

The ceremony ended with a colorful performance by students and the folk dance medley "Hanoi people - Marching to Hanoi - Hanoi's constructions", performed by female teachers in traditional ao dai. The performance not only expressed the love of Hanoi of the female teachers, but also evoked heroic images of the capital during the historical years.
