"PROUD SHADE OF RED" ACTIVITY – NGUYEN SIEU PRIMARY SCHOOL JOINS THE ATMOSPHERE OF CELEBRATING NATIONAL DAY ON SEPTEMBER 2ND

In anticipation of National Day on September 2nd, Nguyen Sieu Primary School launched the "Proud Shade of Red" activity, joining teachers and students together to celebrate the nation's major holiday through familiar activities in school life.

National Day on September 2nd – A sacred milestone of the nation On September 2, 1945, at Ba Dinh Square, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, founding the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and opening a new chapter in national history. Over the past 81 years, National Day on September 2nd has become an occasion for every Vietnamese person to look back at history, treasure the values of independence and peace, and feel even prouder of their homeland. For students, these values are absorbed not only through history lessons, but also through close, everyday experiences and images. A national flag, a red shirt, or an activity with teachers and friends can serve as a starting point for children to explore and feel the significance of National Day.

Exciting "Proud Shade of Red" activity at Nguyen Sieu Primary School Responding to National Day on September 2nd, today, Nguyen Sieu Primary School launched the "Proud Shade of Red" activity school-wide. Teachers and students came to school wearing red shirts and shirts featuring the yellow-starred red flag. Areas decorated with the national flag were also prepared for students and teachers to capture beautiful photos together, creating a vibrant atmosphere leading up to National Day. Notably, the "Proud Shade of Red" also appeared in the children's daily meals. From morning bread to afternoon pastries, the kitchen team carefully crafted and shaped the national flag on the dishes. From the schoolyard to the classrooms, and from outfits to meals, every department in the school found its own unique way to create a special day for the students.

Pride planted from simple things "Proud Shade of Red" not only created a beautiful atmosphere during the days celebrating National Day, but more importantly, brought students a visual and relatable experience of a historical milestone for the country. At Nguyen Sieu Primary School, education about patriotism and the homeland doesn't just happen in lessons. Those values can be felt by students through the very environment they live and learn in every day. A flag shirt, a flag in the schoolyard, a small pastry shaped like the national flag—these simple things help bring National Day closer to their childhood.
