VIETNAMESE VR EDUCATION – OPENING UP NEW LEARNING EXPERIENCES AT NGUYEN SIEU PRIMARY SCHOOL
Nguyen Sieu Primary School recently held an online meeting with National University of Kaohsiung (NUK), Taiwan, and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) to discuss Vietnamese VR Education – a virtual reality learning environment for Vietnamese language and culture. The initiative aims to bring virtual reality technology into students’ learning experiences.
The meeting was attended by Ms Nguyen Thi Lan, the School Principal, and members of the school’s leadership team. The three institutions discussed plans for collaboration, exploring how virtual reality technology could be connected with language and cultural knowledge, as well as the practical needs of primary education, in the near future.
The programme aims to use VR as a tool to help students explore Vietnamese language and culture through immersive, engaging and interactive experiences. It also seeks to create opportunities to innovate teaching methods and connect university research with the primary school learning environment.
Through this collaboration, Nguyen Sieu Primary School hopes to develop a learning model that brings together technology, academic content and students’ real-world learning needs.
