YEAR 4 PUPILS TAKE TO THE SKIES WITH TECHNOLOGY AT NGUYEN SIEU FLY SMART CHALLENGE 2026

News Saturday, 24/10/2026

Nguyen Sieu Fly Smart Challenge 2026 is a drone piloting competition for Year 4 pupils, offering them a platform to apply their STEM knowledge, strategic thinking and teamwork skills in exciting aerial matches.

The competition featured two rounds: a practical qualifying round and the Final. Following the qualifying matches, the teams with the strongest performances progressed to the Final. The competition was filled with thrilling drone manoeuvres, enthusiastic cheers and a mix of excitement and disappointment when results did not go as hoped. Win or lose, every team gave its best and gained valuable, memorable experience.

Today’s intense matches gave our Year 4 competitors the opportunity to put their skills into practice. Providing pupils with authentic, hands-on experiences is an important part of the School’s approach, allowing them to learn valuable lessons through participation.

Through the competition, the School hopes pupils will gain practical experience in piloting drones in a competitive environment, learn to remain calm under pressure, adapt their strategies and overcome challenges together. These experiences will help them recognise their strengths, learn from setbacks and grow in confidence as they continue to explore science and technology.

Congratulations to all our Year 4 teams for completing Nguyen Sieu Fly Smart Challenge 2026 with such enthusiasm, creativity and determination!
